In cases of extreme emergency such as a house fire, the Township Trustee works with a variety of local organizations to render assistance to victims of disasters. When available, the township can assist in replacing basic living necessities and can even provide temporary shelter to those in need. 

Disaster victims are often in need of furniture to establish a new, permanent residence. This creates a need for used furniture. If you are considering replacing some furniture item in your home, think about offering them to disaster victims by donating them to the Michigan Township Trustee.
